Litigation support in the Philippines
Organized, well-documented support for businesses facing or pursuing a dispute.
Overview
Strong cases are built on preparation
Philippine court procedure expects parties to prepare early. Documents and witness affidavits are generally attached to pleadings, and testimony is largely presented through judicial affidavits. A business that cannot quickly find its contracts, correspondence and records starts at a disadvantage. We support clients with case strategy, documentation and evidence organization, and we coordinate closely with litigation counsel, who represent you in court.
Many disputes never need a full trial. Court-annexed mediation is part of the process in many civil cases, and arbitration under the Alternative Dispute Resolution Act offers a private route when the contract provides for it. We help you assess these options alongside litigation and prepare for each. No one can guarantee the outcome of a dispute, but we make sure your position is clear and well supported.

Frequently asked questions
Litigation questions we hear often
Do you represent us in court?
Court appearances in the Philippines are handled by licensed lawyers. Our role is to support your case through strategy, documentation and evidence work, and to coordinate with the litigation counsel who appears for you. We can help you engage counsel if you do not have one.
Is mediation required before trial?
Many civil cases are referred to court-annexed mediation before trial, and some disputes between individuals must first go through barangay conciliation. Mediation can resolve matters at lower cost, and we help you prepare so you can negotiate from a strong position.
When is arbitration a better option?
Arbitration is available when the parties agree to it, usually through a clause in the contract. It is private, and the parties have more say in who decides the dispute, which suits many commercial and cross-border matters. We review your contract and advise on the route that fits.
